Do you still choose each other?

What makes it different

A card battler you program

Program your energy

No land cards, and no drawing the wrong resources. Every deck carries a ten-slot energy row in an order you choose. Each of your turns unlocks the next slot and refills the ones already open.

Unspent energy stays up through your opponent’s turn, ready for a response. Faction decides how a card is paid for, never whether it fits your deck.

Turn 44 energy: 2 Concord, 2 Lumin
  1. Slot 1: The Lumin, unlocked
  2. Slot 2: The Lumin, unlocked
  3. Slot 3: The Concord, unlocked
  4. Slot 4: The Concord, unlocked
  5. Slot 5: The Lumin, locked
  6. Slot 6: The Concord, locked
  7. Slot 7: The Foundry, locked
  8. Slot 8: The Foundry, locked
  9. Slot 9: The Concord, locked
  10. Slot 10: The Lumin, locked

The example from the design notes: two Lumin before the first Concord, and Foundry from turn seven.

  • Answer on either turn

Priority and a response stack let Fast cards land before and after attacks, on your turn or theirs. Nine Prepared cards can be set face down and revealed when you choose; six Energy Enhancements add energy now or after your next refill.

  • 150 cards, three factions

Fifty anchored to each faction, including twenty-four bridges that belong to two at once. Decks of forty mix any factions and hybrids you own: there are no faction restrictions.

  • A thirty-chapter campaign

The Renewal, in five acts, with minibosses and act bosses whose powers fire on a public schedule. The answers you give come back later in the story.

  • Earn your collection

Start with one of seven complete starter decks. Win to earn points, buy packs and pull foils. The first clear of each chapter awards a pack, and bosses award packs that are all foil.

  • Three AI opponents

Cadet, Tactician and Strategist, plus a Story difficulty for players here for the narrative. The AI never looks at your hand, your face-down cards or either deck’s order.

  • Battlefields in 3D

The Orbital Foundry, Frontier Haven and the Prism Expanse are modeled dioramas, and the cards on them are lit, beveled objects that lift, tilt, flip and catch the light on foils.

  • An electronic score

Six instrumental tracks: a main theme, one for each faction, regular battles and a heavier cue for bosses, crossfading as the game moves between them.

  • Free, no microtransactions

No real-money purchases, no account and no connection needed. Beyond your starter deck, every card you own is earned by playing, offline.

The Synapact

Three peoples. One light.

Nine hundred years ago, three peoples agreed to share one light. They called it the Synapact.

Every three hundred years, each founding people must sing its consent to the accord again, leaving one beat of the song silent for the ones who come after. Now the bell has rung, and it asks one question: do you still choose each other?

The silent Sequencer rings the renewal bell and travels to the Foundry, the Concord and the Lumin, and to the bridge peoples born between them. Each act pledges one answer to the bell’s question.
